One such commitment to the community is the WORTHY program. The WORTHY (Worthwhile to Help High School Youth) Mentoring and Scholarship Program offers a unique opportunity and a valuable resource to high school students interested in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
|
What is WORTHY? |
WORTHY (Worthwhile To Help High School Youth) is a mentoring program for local high school students seeking work experience and an opportunity to pursue interests in STEM. Each participant visits the facility for one full day every month, and is paired with two mentors. Together, they create a project that is worked on throughout the year. |
